Obtain patient histories; perform physical examinations; diagnose sports-related knee and shoulder injuries; diagnose osteoarthritis of the hip or knee: diagnose common musculoskeletal complaints involving the wrist, elbow, or ankle; order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and/or imaging; counsel patients on preventative health; write prescriptions for physical therapy and/or medication, administer intraarticular cortisone and visco injections; assist in surgical procedures
